"Heaven knows no frontiers, and I’ve seen heaven in your eyes"

This is how the Frontier beer series lost their ground, missed direction and finally found themselves again. This beer has no frontiers, meaning that it can now pick and choose among brewing specialties. Instead of being an IPA, this is a rather a Belgian ale, hopped and dryhopped with continental european hops and refermented with brettanomyces. A tart, picturesque and rural beer.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, hops, Rock Candy, yeast and brettanomyces.

Bottle shared with wyzzywyz22, cheers mate! As usual you’ve delivered. Poured a slightly hazy copper colour with a healthy off white head. Aroma of fruity jam, sugar, brett. Flavour is hints of flowers, hops, malts, some funky farmyard aromas. I loved this stuff. I have to have this again, thought it was more saison than Belgian ale.

Bottle from Rare Beer Club, sometime in 2012. I expect this was a lot hoppier before, that’s mostly missing. But still, really nice. Funky, grassy. A little sour. There is a caramel sweetness present, too.

Taste like a creamy version of Orval. Good fresh beer, but could use a little more character.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dark hazy brown with a thick beige head. Nose is full of dark fruits with brown sugar and honey focus. Nice grass and tartiness to it. Taste is loaded with heavy plum and cherry - almost juicy and stewed. Loads of tarty dark berries with heavy toffee and farmhouse notes. Dry stuff. Solid
