"Heaven knows no frontiers, and I’ve seen heaven in your eyes"

This is how the Frontier beer series lost their ground, missed direction and finally found themselves again. This beer has no frontiers, meaning that it can now pick and choose among brewing specialties. Instead of being an IPA, this is a rather a Belgian ale, hopped and dryhopped with continental european hops and refermented with brettanomyces. A tart, picturesque and rural beer.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, hops, Rock Candy, yeast and brettanomyces.

750ml bottle @ Maunula beer tasting 091113. Bought from Drink Shop, Tallinn. Thanks Mikko! Mild smell after 1000 IBU.. :) Little bit some fruitiness still. Easy and pleasant beer.

The Sampler, Brooklyn 750ml ($20): Pours amber with a big off-white head. Aroma is yeast, loads of fruit, oldish hops, and sugar. Taste reminds me a little bit of an IPA that sat too long (this beer is best before 2017). It has that almost caramelized malt taste. Brett is there, but it seems in too small of a quantity to make a meaningful difference. Lots of earthy flavors... maybe too many. I was not very impressed by this beer, and I had high hopes.

0,75l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Light amber colored beer with pillowy, creamy, white head. Pure, fresh fruit odor. Special fruity aroma with apricot, blueberry and apple. A little spicy hops also appears. We can barely feel classic hop and malt flavours, only the unique and special fruity flavours. Althouth we can be sure, tey used a lot of hops to reach this aroma. Light bitter taste. Creamy texture, medium to full body, soft and silky carbonation. Very delicious, fruity, well hopped beer.

Draft. Light stone fruit and hop aroma, a little orange in color, strong bitter up front that mellows quickly behind the sour nectarine pit taste that is throughout the finish. Interesting but I little off putting considering that nectarine pit is not my ideal beer characteristic.
