Capped 750 from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours hazy orange/copper with a slight tan head. Aroma of yeast, lighter fruits, and "fresh". Maybe some berry notes. Making me think of Fruits de Bois. Full bodied. Flavor is malt, yeast, fruit, - but to a certain extent I’m experiencing memories of myrtle. Not blueberries - the weird, woody leafy kind of thing. It’s frothy and lipsmacking. Malty, but not excessively so. Really challenges the palate and helps keep one’s attention on line. Good drink.

Sampled from a 0.75l bottle at in The Great Juleøl Blindtest 2013. This one quickly forms a huge bubbly light beigeish head on top of a light blurry really good looking amber body. Enjoying the nose. Minty and slightly sharp nose with undefined yeast. Really having a hard time identifying this, bits present. Quite sweet in the taste. It has lots of warming booze hitting your in the tongue and a oily mouthfeel with a just above average prickling carbonation level. My first impression is that this could have been stored away a bit longer before hitting the shelf’s. To raw, yeasty, Belgian white candied sugar and some floral tones in the finish, peppery aftertaste. 23.11.2013

Fyllighet OK

On 70 cl bottle. Deep golden color , good foam. Aromas of malt, honey, dried fruits and Christmas spices. Medium/ full body & high complexity . Some sweetness, but very well balanced. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Rhubarb, redcurrants, deceivingly easy drinking. Pleasant and inviting. The booze is well hidden.

Tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours hazy amber with a firm white head. Nose is quite leafy and citric with a heavy yeast driven note. Fair amount of spices in aroma and taste. A little vinous in the mouth behind leafy hops and heavy sweet yeast. Not my sort of style but done well for it

Copper, tanned head. Smells of spice, yeast esters, malts and grass. Moderate sweet, spicy and estery, nice malt flavors. Medium bitter grassy finish. Nice belgian style
