Bottle at home (bb 13/02/15). Pours light hazy golden amber with a white head. Sweet fruity floral aroma of malts, caramel, light white wine, yeast, hops, wood, vanilla. Taste is over moderate sweet, moderate bitter, sweet malts, vanilla, wood, caramel, dry ending, hoppy bitter aftertaste. Very drinkable. Nice.

pours a slightly cloudy but mostly clear copper-orange, with a moderate off-white head that lingers and laces well as it goes down. orange, grapefruit, citrusy nose, with a bit of the fruity vinousness of a dry white wine. taste is dry and even astringent, grapefruity again, with maybe some apples, pears, and white grapes mixed in. finish is again very dry, a tiny bit phenolic, with a light, bitter astringency. very very good on a hot day with a richly-flavored dinner.

Bottle @ home. Aroma of some brett, floral hops, something sweet caramel/vanilla from the barrel and some vinous. Hazy amber with white head, tiny lasting. Taste is light sweet to dry, light+ bitterness, some bitterness from the white wine too. Medium body, dry feel, avg carb., white wine bitter finish.

375ml bottle, from Dutch’s. Shared with alexsdad06 and tmoney99. Mostly clear orange color. Finger of off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Kind of toasty, cracker-like malt. Kind of spicy. A little less complex in the flavor than I was hoping for. Wine barrel character is subtle. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light to moderate bitter, small touch of tart. I like the small bit of funk here, but not much else to this. Medium to bigger body. Kind of soft, crisp, lighter to moderate carbonation. Mild slick. OK, but for $15, I’m very underwhelmed. Bit more of a caramel, maltier character than I’d like.

375ml bottle. Pours clear amber with good white head. Aroma is brett & sugar. Taste is bristly brett, nice and crisp with the most subtle of white wine influence, and slick alcohol on the finish.

Pours a two-finger off-white head that stays forever leaving a thick lace. Hazy amber color, a few floaties. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet malt, some citrus nose and flavor is tart citrus that is mellowed by the sweet malt. Very light bitter aftertaste. Higher ABV is hidden. The 375ml green bottle was a gift.
