375ml bottle, from Dutchs. Shared with alexsdad06 and tmoney99. Mostly clear orange color. Finger of off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Kind of toasty, cracker-like malt. Kind of spicy. A little less complex in the flavor than I was hoping for. Wine barrel character is subtle. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light to moderate bitter, small touch of tart. I like the small bit of funk here, but not much else to this. Medium to bigger body. Kind of soft, crisp, lighter to moderate carbonation. Mild slick. OK, but for $15, Im very underwhelmed. Bit more of a caramel, maltier character than Id like.

375ml bottle. Pours clear amber with good white head. Aroma is brett & sugar. Taste is bristly brett, nice and crisp with the most subtle of white wine influence, and slick alcohol on the finish.

Pours a two-finger off-white head that stays forever leaving a thick lace. Hazy amber color, a few floaties. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet malt, some citrus nose and flavor is tart citrus that is mellowed by the sweet malt. Very light bitter aftertaste. Higher ABV is hidden. The 375ml green bottle was a gift.

Very lovely saison! Huge but well balanced maltiness in background to highlight impressive fruitiness, tropical fruits, peach, grapefruit, pine, spicey, but honeyish not pushy yeastiness, perfect implement aspect of BA. Moderate sweetness, with light bitterness, light tartness. Awesome balance

Aroma: Sainonīgs, tropisks, bez rūgtām notīm. Gara: Vieglas medus notis un specifisks raugs. Loti baudāms

Pours a clear golden with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of slight oxidation, fruits and spices. Taste is moderately bitter and feels old and tired with again a lot of oxidative flavors over a fruity background. Some winey flavors but not nearly enough.. Almost no barrel influence I would say. Average body and carbonation and not too winey. Almost completely dead, I doubt this was ever really good and vinous... just a poor wine-BA saison.

Bottle (green) Pours golden with low white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of caramel. No serious hops. Not alot going on. Taste is of fruits, some acidity, caramel. Palate: Medium-high carbonation. Overall: A tad old. Feels over the hill.

bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks bro! pours clear medium dark golden orange with a frothy and spotty off-white head, strong lacing. rotten yellow prunes, spices, buttery barrels, green vegetal oxidized, caramel, sweet toasted fruity orange maltiness, yeast. bright to moderate carbonation, light to medium body, semi-sweet buttery dilly-spicy finish. probably old - and thanks for the green glass bottle. nah.

Bottle 375 ml, pours perfect clear amber with a small white head reduces fast to lacing. As well aroma and taste are very complex. Notes of apricots, herbs, oak wood, barnyard, toast, hay, green apples and white wine. In taste theres a little bit of everything, starting with medium sweetness, some light sourness and finally ending up in a tart and bitter finish. Carbonation is soft but its perfectly underlining the taste. A great, very elegant and very dry beer.

37,5cl bottle at home. Somewhat hazy orange with a medium slightly off-white soapy head with long retention. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Medium bitterness with very nice sour tones and some fruity sweetness. Yeast, pine, tart, peach, green apple, wood, citrus, wine and herbs. A very tasty BA saison.
