English: Enough heavy dark obnoxious sweet super malty x-mas and winter beers. When you eat heavy duck with fat gravy, the last thing you want is another heavy sweet malt liqour!
NO! you want something that can help you digest the dinner, ease you stommach and cleance your throat. And that is exactly what Snowball Saison will do. It is a SUPER sparkling crisp and dry Saison that has been refermented with milk acid bacterias and dry hopped over and over to give the beer a crisp and smooth tart finish (not to mention.... there is a lot of hops of course...)
Have a nice winter!

Ingredients: Water, Malt, Flaked Oats , Light Candy, HOPPPPPSSSSS (Amarillo, Tettnanger, Simcoe, Hallertauer) Yeast and brettanomyces

On tap at Mikkeller San Francisco, pours a cloudy golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, some nail varnish, and a bit of hay. Flavour brings out hay, Belgian yeast, and some astringent hops on the finish. Dry, zesty and rather astringent for a saison. Solid stuff, but nothing overly sophisticated.

Grifo. Vaso Shaker. Color latón dorado y apariencia algo velada. On-tap. Shaker glass. Bright brass color, chill haze appearance. Foam is white, crown is close & thick. Resins, herbs –mint- flowers & lactic notes to the nose. Malty upfront is sweep out by sharp hoppiness. Medium to full body. Moderate but sparkling carbonation. Oily texture & subtle spicy palate. Bitter fruit in the middle & piney sensation rounded by spiced notes, citric zest, grapefruit & slight tartar touch. Long sharp bitter finish. Dried & herbal aftertaste. Worth to try!!

My Bottom Line:
Doughy and sugary, this dessert Saison lays a comfortable flavor profile onto orange-y fruitiness and delicate herbaceousness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam tops the misty amber-hued golden.
-Brettanomyces seems to have stalled early in its work phase. This is sweet for a Saison.
-The doughy character gets tiresome quickly.
-The fluffy, soft mouthfeel is enjoyable.

On tap at Isaacs. Nice brew with zesty notes of lemon and citrusy range. This finish was sweet malts, bread, hop and spice. Really good.

On tap at Global Brew. Pours a very hazy pale yellow with a thick small bead white head. Mild hop grapefruit aroma. Taste is sweet pale malt, grapefruit, cherry juice and a little bubblegum too.

Draught. Served in a Carlsberg glass. Nice touch. Hazy, darker golden colour with a small, white head. Spicy, fruity aroma with yeasts, citrus, oranges, bretts and fruits. Taste is bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and yeasty with bretts, citrus, spices and fruits. Neat Saison.

Clear orange in color with thin white head... Aroma of orange citrus, tropical fruits... Flavor is light and citrusy up front, gives way to a spiced finish... Sold ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 8%. Mild citric hop aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Good stable rocky white head. The flavour is quite bitter, nicely citric and not funky or yeasty.
