Aroma is good, sweet spices and hoppy carrying a peppery nose. Taste is mildly sweet with a mildly sweet and even milder bitter medium finish. Interesting session saison for its spice and savor.

A - Clear golden-orange with a finger of frothy off-white head. Fades fairly slowly.
S - Sweet grainy and lightly bready malts, Belgian yeast, coriander, pepper, other spices, lemon zest, some funk, citrus and green fruit esters.
T - Sweet grainy and lightly bready malts, Belgain yeast, coriander, pepper, other spices, lemon zest, grapefruit, citrus, and pine hops, smooth bitterness, some funk, and light tart green fruits.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a tart, funky, dry, estery finish.
D - Great hoppy saison. Good overall balance.

750 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 8%. Deep golden colour, huge white head. Fresh and pleasant of (mainly) American hops (Amarillo and Simcoe), notes of citrus and "spicy" saison yeast. The flavour is much sweeter than expected, certainly not "crisp and dry" as described, but still nice enough to drink. Notes of white kandij sugar and orange peel, the finish is spicy/peppery and hoppy, medium bitter. No masterpiece, but quite nice.

large ivory white head, foam head and some lacing. yellow-orange clear colour. quite a lot of carbonation. very pronounced hoppy resin aroma. long lasting hoppy and resin taste. not what i expected at all, the bottle reads saison + brett, but this rather reminds me of an IPA75 cl / notes from backlog

Pours amber with a large white head. Aroma is malt, grapefruit, brett, flower and perfume. Flavour is malt, peach, perfume, light brett and flower.

Bottled@vPBFII. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, yeast, some wood and mild earthy notes. Flavour is very similar with a quite big body and some nice spicyness.

Pours a cloudy orange colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of grainy malts, floral notes and some spiciness. Flavour of sweet malts, brett, caramel, grains, floral notes and some fruitiness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Refreshing.

Aroma has yeasty notes and fruits. Flavour has yeasty notes, fruits, some peppery spices and hints of apricot. Finishes with grassy hops with some gooseberry bush. Palate is too high on CO2. Warming alcohol after some sips. Nice.

750ml bottle from OB, Sydney. Presents with a hazy orange body and a large rocky white head that persists and laces nicely. Nice hoppy Saison aromas with notes of orange peel, straw, grainy malts, peppers and grassy elements. Taste is bittersweet with a substantially dry hop finish. Palate is lighter than the ABV would suggest with a medium carbonation and oily texture. Overall a lovely Saison on a par with Belgium’s best.
