COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Enough heavy dark obnoxious sweet super malty x-mas and winter beers. When you eat heavy duck with fat gravy, the last thing you want is another heavy sweet malt liqour!
NO! you want something that can help you digest the dinner, ease you stommach and cleance your throat. And that is exactly what Snowball Saison will do. It is a SUPER sparkling crisp and dry Saison that has been refermented with milk acid bacterias and dry hopped over and over to give the beer a crisp and smooth tart finish (not to mention.... there is a lot of hops of course...)
Have a nice winter!

Ingredients: Water, Malt, Flaked Oats , Light Candy, HOPPPPPSSSSS (Amarillo, Tettnanger, Simcoe, Hallertauer) Yeast and brettanomyces

Bottle at home from brewdog online
pours hazy yellow with big fluffy white head and some big yeast esters with a tropical note. At first it comes out boozy warm but thankfully doesn’t last long as it gets replaced by fruity hops and a dry bitterness. This one is perhaps a little old as there’s no fresh hop burst but instead a mellowed well integrated saison yeast ale. Perfect carbonation and medium bodied+far too easy drinking for the strength.

Bottle from drinkstore. Pours cloudy light cloudy orange with white bubbly head. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, bread, slight sour, rind. Flavour is sweet biscuit, caramel malt, bread. Medium carbonation. Dry sweet mild bitter finish. ABV not visible although high for a saison. This is a mash up that works.

It pours a light orange colour with a big frothy head. Its very much like a wheat beer in look, taste and aroma, but with a hoppy kick to it. It has a full bodied feel with a bitter sweet finish. Overall a very good beer.

Pours a hazy golden, sparkly appearance. Lively bubbles and thick/vibrant head. Excellent head retention. Smells of cotton candy, wet dog (some brettanomycys yeast funk) and spicy citrus fruit aromas. Tastes different to how it smells, that’s for damn sure. Tart and bitter with some pineapple and finger lime hops at the beginning which tapers out with a boiled candy sweetness and a crisp dry finish. Not your average saison, but still very quenching to the palate and playful on the mouthfeel. Definitely worthy of my time/money.

DWFACDSJT; Bottle. Pours hazy light gold with a moderate lasting, creamy, white head. Nose is malt, intense sweet citrus, caramel, sour, yeast and spice. Taste is moderate sweet and heavy bitter with a sweet citric, warming, spiced, lasting finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
