COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Enough heavy dark obnoxious sweet super malty x-mas and winter beers. When you eat heavy duck with fat gravy, the last thing you want is another heavy sweet malt liqour!
NO! you want something that can help you digest the dinner, ease you stommach and cleance your throat. And that is exactly what Snowball Saison will do. It is a SUPER sparkling crisp and dry Saison that has been refermented with milk acid bacterias and dry hopped over and over to give the beer a crisp and smooth tart finish (not to mention.... there is a lot of hops of course...)
Have a nice winter!

Ingredients: Water, Malt, Flaked Oats , Light Candy, HOPPPPPSSSSS (Amarillo, Tettnanger, Simcoe, Hallertauer) Yeast and brettanomyces

Poured from a bomber into a snifter a golden brew with an off white head. Aroma is malty funk barnyard with some sweetness-a bit of hop. Taste is flavor up the yazoo!. Saison strong yet the hops gives it a bitterness that balances out the sweetness of the malts. WOW. Carbonated perfectly & a lovely feel of freshness to the palate. Overall this brew blew me away. Bought as a recommendation from a true beer savant and so not disappointed. Already plan to head back tomorrow to pick up another bottle (or 2). It’s awesome!!

Bottle 75cl. Had the priviledge to taste this white beauty twice. Lovely lable design and topped by a white folie top off cause. As white as the folie top is, so is the frothy top in the beer. Its fizzy and sparkling a bit before setteling in a thick foamy head that begs for a spoon - lovely. The body is lightly amber with a fine hazy glow. The nose is hoppy hoppy hoppy with the caracteristic citric and grassy american aromas - The hoppyness is followed by fine yeasty notes with both barnyard and a dry dustyness that suits a saison so well. The mouthfeel is mild with sparkling body due to a pretty high carbonation level - the finish is bitter with a nice creamy smoothyness. The taste is what it promise to be - damn hoppy with a well balanced yeasty base and a sqeeze of malts. A fantastic saison.

bottle @ il pretesto. It pours golden clear with a huge white lasting head on top. Aroma is fruity and brett. Spicy, fruity and bitter with something sour. Greatly balanced and complex. Great beer.

Huge thanks to noodleuser for this one! A wonderful surprise from a great tasting. Pours a cloudy amber with a beauteous head. Nose holds awesome pineapple, funky Brett C, citrus, grassy hop, and apricot. The flavor yields more of that phenomenal tropical fruit mixed with yeasty wildness and good hops too. Awesome.

0,75l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Hazy, light amber colored beer with little white head. Fruity sour odor. Balanced bitterness and kind sour flavour. Fruits, yeast, some malt. The fruit flavours play the main role. The aroma has every good properties of Saison beers. Medium bitter taste with some fruity sweetness. Very creamy texture and light body, soft carbonation. It slips down easily but it has a huge aroma. Fruity, bitter finish. It’s a very delicious beer with many flavours and very delicious mouthfeel. Very-very good one.

A fabulous beer. I couldn’t agree more with the description. Heavy beers are not always great paired with heavy food. You need something that complements, balances, quenches. The beer has strength to handle a rich food, but the hops here deliver a very fresh, slightly spicy and slightly sour taste that is wonderful.
