Bottle from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Sat on the sofa, drinking this beer. Enjoying it. And I am the Sofa King. Oh yes. Well... apart from the Missus... and the dog. He’s the real Sofa King. Actually, it’s him. Then the Missus. And then me. Nice beer, though.

Bottle from Mogwai Bar&Mat. Aroma holds citrus, fresh hops and ,of course, tropical fruits. Pours dark orange with a small white head. Taste has some hops but isn’t very tasteful. Palate is quiet stray. Not a blockbuster but an okay beer.

Not that special. Sure; a lot of hop in a pale ale, but that needs more alcohol to really fly.

Bread, grass, citrus, dough, raisin, good balance between malt and hops. A lot of the malty beers don’t have this good hop taste, I would definitely buy it again.

djoeye (1690) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 2, 2014
Hazy hazy amber grey’ish body, off white to apricot tart cream coloured head. Some lacing. Aroma; lots of resin, fruity hops, orange peels, grass and spices all the way. Taste; fresh fruity hops, apricot peel, citrus peels, resin juice. Finishes balanced between the sweet and the bitter. Normal on palate, soft enough carbonation, nice body. Not very complex, but enough taste and well brewed. Very fruity APA. [33cl brown btl, 4.7%abv, BB04-06-16, B@EideHandel, 6€50c, T@höme]

Bottle. Hazy, low to medium carbonation. Pleasant aroma of flowery hops. Full-flavoured taste; honey, bit of caramel, some grass. A nice pale ale, although not outstanding.

Pours a cloudy orange with a large, fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, orange peel and pale malts. Taste is moderately bitter, with citrus-fruit and peel. Fairly dry with a lasting bitterness. Light bodied with avg co2 levels.

Hoppy aroma of malt, caramel, citrus, tropical fruits, apricot, pine, grass. Flavour is grassy, fruity, light sweet, with a medium bitter finish. Really delicious crisp sessionable APA.

Big offwhite head. Hazy opaque amber body. Fruity resiny aroma with grassy spicy notes. Dryish resiny taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel, slightly astringent. Dryish spicy fruity mealy aftertaste with resiny notes. Quite nice, but a bit too much dregs, and a bit less complexity than it should have had. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Strømmen.)

Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thin white head. Aroma is quite fruity, grassy hops, some citrus ans a little bit sweaty. Flavor is bitter and hoppy, some resin and with a thick malty backbone. Nice brew but a bit harsh.

Draught at På Besök, Malmö
Hazy red-amber color with creamy head. The aroma is fruity, fresh, peach, yellow jam, but also some butter. Dry mouthfeel; nice malt flavor with toffee and biscuit accent; strong bitterness, a bit resiny but not much fruity. The feeling in the final is a bit harsh.
