4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pitch black thick liquid with a mocha head.
Aroma: sweet with some kind of candy, berries and dark wine gums, light whisky.
Taste: lactic, loads of licorice, sweet, milk chocolate, coffee grounds, whisky, only warming alcohol.
Full-bodied and very smooth.
Quite special, a bit odd in a way, but quite nice.

Flavor follows the nose, with dark fruits, lactose, lots of whiskey and oak, roasted malt, liquorice, dark chocolate, vanilla and some alcohol. The body is full with a creamy mouth feel. Overall a pretty tasty BA Imperial Milk Stout.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Huge brown-beige head over black beer. Liquorice, ink, hazelnutchocolate, basil, slightly black cardemom. Don’t get the whisky, however; Taste - ow, here’s the whisky allright. More baadi elaachi, and black chocolate. Hint at vanilla and/or fresh oak. Alcoholheat. Very good balance, but in the palate all flavours also seem to cancell each other out. Extra thick, voluptuous body. Rich, rewarding stout, well-worth trying.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
3330 ml bottle - pours deep deep brwon (almost blackish) with quickly disppearing head. Aroma is intense: roasted malt, honey, chocolate. Body is one I have never experienced before; the lactose makes it really interesting as it smootens the hardness of the character a stout coffee can have sometimes. Taste is roast malt and chocolate milk
