COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Imperial Whisky Barrel Aged Milk Stout.

English: The beast has landed. A limited one time release Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Milk Stout at 13,1 % ABV. "Sort Mælk" = "Black Milk"... Oh Yeah!

Nice opaque black tone with a low carbonic and a creamy and delicious dark brown head. Has a lot of complexity with wood from the oak, cocoa with a fresh mixture from the hops and a sweet lactose in finish. In palate is creamy and smooth with a warm profile from the wood and roasty notes of coffee and cocoa with a nice bitterness to balance this recipe. Really complex and delicious, a favorite Imperial Stout aged in oak.

Sweet fuck. Get fucked. Shit. Dear me. This is fucked up. I’m a pretty conservative cunt but I’m happy to say that I’d drag my prunes through 120 meters of broken glass and thrice used syringes for a thimble of this shit. Fuck me.

Bottle. One of the darkest beers I’ve ever seen. Totally pitch black with a little dark brown head. Aroma is really well balanced. Coffee, chocolate, brown sugar, roasted malt, sweetness from the lactose. Some barrel character but not extreme amounts. However, the more time it’s in the glass, the more barrel character is provided :) The taste is nothing but amazing - well, maybe perfect. Additionally to all the aroma characters, much more barrel character in the taste, which understandably also gives some alcohol notes. I must say though, because this beer has been developing in the bottle for more than a year now, the little booziness is not unpleasant at all. It provides you with a nice lingering warmth, here on a cold, dark, rainy fall night. Mouthfeel, is close to as full as possibe - not entirely though! Favorite Danish beer? Hell yeah! No questions asked! Favorite beer of all time - on a good, patriotic day, I would say so!

0.33l bottle from 2D2DSpuma. Oh, this is a oily pitch black one with a really good looking but quickly fading and bubbling chocolaty top. On the nose it’s almost sweet and lactal, woody with traces of sweet licorice, soy, coconut and a little bit of wet smoky rocks. A nice not to extreme but definitely present aroma. It has a thick chewy viscous mouthfeel with a nice small prickling carbonation level. Lovely rich bot in texture and in the taste. More roasted, blackberries, loads of sweet licorice, dark Belgian chocolate, gunpowder, rye bread and there is also a strong lactal sweetness. Not so much of the whisky before the warming aftertaste. A really fine sipper on this dark wet and windy December evening. 29.12.2012

Bottle from MotherBrother...huge thanks, Peter! - Pours black as night with a deep brown head. Warm and a little bit boozy on the nose, with whiskey, medium dark roast, and a bit of milky sweetness. Taste is buttery, with medium roast malt, a little ash, and a milky caramel sweetness. Finishes with a bit of whiskey booziness and warmth. Thick like a milkshake with a big slickness.

Black color with small mocca head. Aroma of anise, lactose, molasses, bitter chocolate, cocoa, coconut, whiskey. Taste is light to medium sweet with a lot of the barrel flavor. Medium to full body, thick texture, soft to flat carbonation, Really, really good
