330ml bottle. Pours out dark black with a brown head that quickly vanishes. At first ashy, roasted malt and blackberry fruit comes through in the aroma, followed by whiskey notes. Tastes much the same, with a creamy lactose succulence. Lovely viscous mouthfeel that feels very balanced, and extremely drinkable for the strength. A very nice creation.

33cl bottle, cellared for a year or so. Pours black with thick tan brown head - looks viscous. Aroma is full of great vanilla, oak, nice fruity whiskey notes, roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruitiness, some coffee, light booziness. Cracking aroma. Taste has great depth - multilayered fruity whiskey notes, vanilla, oak barrel stuff, light liquorice, milk chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, sweet sugary notes. Medium/full mouthfeel. Hardly any booze apparent. Lingering whiskey and chocolate notes. This is a seriously good brew, God bless To Øl.

Bottle at Pibar, Lausanne
Black color with medium sized beige head, creamy. Nice aroma, roasted malt, dark chocolate, light tar, light dust. Full bodied, excellent dark chocolate flavor, with some roasted malt and an impression of dust in the end; strong bitterness; quite sweet too; terreux, light liquorice; the alcohol is well hidden.
Very good but unpolished.
