3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle conditioned, 330ml from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton, Sussex.E. Hazed amber with white head. There is a slightly acrid, pine like nose which does follow on into the beer, Spruce, pine needle notes from quite an aggressive hop, bitter on a light, malty, dry body. Good but with an edge.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brown/amber with a big foamy off white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, lemon, sweet malt. Taste light sweet with a bitter finish. Thick oily texture, light/med carbonation. Really tasty, though I maybe poured it a bit too enthusiastically as there is quite a bit if stuff floating in it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small, persisting yellow head and a lot of lacing. The aroma is hoppy, with grass, pine, grapefruit, somewhat flowery. The taste is moderately sweet, solid bitterness, with a long dry, bitter finish. Really nice, very drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bärnstensfärgad med stort vit skum. Doftar och smakar humligt (Annanas) och ganska sött av malten.

6.0% ABV. American Pale Ale.
Interesting pedigree. Toøl is a Danish concern that does experimental beers. They do their brewing at De Proef breweries which is a remarkable symbiotic relationship in beer crafting and the ongoing evolution of ale. So, Toøl comes up with the concept, try their concept out at Proef on a microbrew scale and contract with 3rd party logistics outfits to get their product out. De Proef is a really cool concept.
Nice hoppy mouthful. Refreshingly like

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, dark orange. Thin, lasting, white head. Sweet, orangey malt. Fusty mandarin. Light spice. Taste is dry, and zesty bitter. Full, but fresh palate. Finishes zesty bitter. Bit too dry for me.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Deep orange, clear, with a large and lasting off-white head. The aroma has stone fruity hop notes, namely sweet orange and grapefruit. The flavour has sweet malt, sweet citrus fruits, peach, grapefruit, strong bitterness, dry. I really like To Øl’s hoppy beers,

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great tasting ale! Nice and hoppy but not bitter. Citrus at the start, floral towards the end. Another beauty brewed at the ’Proef’. I really love the beers from this brewery.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden amber, light misty ale with frothy bublly head. Biscuity malts, high ermentation, bit rusty, spruce and pine hops. Medium bitter, lasting well though to make a great drinker. That ending appeals much to me. Yummy brew! (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution)

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma ~ Fruity and hoppy.
Appearance ~ Amber, with nice medium lasting head which leaves long lasting lacing.
Taste ~ Hoppy, I didn’t notice any malts, other than that great.
Palate ~ Somewhat bitter, but after two to three sips it tastes more fruity than anything else.
