Bottle shared by tderoeck. Orange-brown with a medium, fine, head. Cloudy. Nice hop nose, citrus, spices, mango. Dry citrus flavor, light bread and caramel, very bitter. Rather light and clean, with a dirty, bitter finish. Nice tropical fruit flavors come out more as it opens up.

Very good Pale Ale. Strong taste, fruity, bubble gum aroma. Great beer for sunny, hot days. Price is quite high but it is worth it. My first american Pale Ale and i am not dissapointed. I will come back to Frontier many times. 6% alcohol, very high IBU. Bitter but very nice to try. I recommend it to all who like Pale Ale beer. Bottle is also very nice. Drink 4-6 degrees of Celcius.

Tap @ JB.
Pour hazy amber, with a small slightly frothy white head.
Aroma of slight old hops, caramel, slight fresh hops as well. A nice mixture. The taste is slightly sweet upfront, with a good amount of bitterness from the middle and out. Medium body, with a somewhat fizzy carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at John Bull Pub in Aalborg. A hazy, amber/orange w/ an off-white head. Aroma is dominated by malts in this. Not a lot of aroma besides some sweet(!) bitterness. Taste is better than the aroma. Some good, but slightly, faded sweet fruitiness. A good good bitterness in the end. Medium mouthfeel, good carbonation. This would probably be better if it were a fresh tap. I know this has been open for some time. Not the best from To Øl! - not this tap.

Aroma is moderately malty, hops, lightly resinous. Taste is moderately malty, hops, lightly resin, lightly fruity, moderate to full bitterness. Lightly sticky texture, medium carbonation, medium body. Very nice indeed.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hoppy aroma, light orange colour with a beautiful head. Some maize in the aroma, but also fruits. Bitter finish, but a bit unbalanced, maize and hops clash. Crispy but a bit over the top in everything. Fun to try.
