Sur is Danish for sour and Mosaic refers to the hop that this beer is based upon. This is a sour mashed 6% pale ale, where we have tried to give a traditional Pale Ale an lactic acid backbone. The lactic acid comes with acidity, but also a fatness that works really well with the mosaic hop, that gives clear notes of tropical fruits like mango and passion fruit.

Balanced but seems to be just another one in the range, not great variation from the others. Very drinkable, refreshing, light to mild acidity. Rather more citric than fruity. Overall a good beer for hot summers day.

750ml bottle from craftshack. Poured a cloudy orange with a finger of foamy white head. Aroma of juicy citrus, passion fruit, mango, perfume, and buiscuit malt. Taste of melon, passion fruit, mango, sour lemon, light funk, hay, and grain. This was pretty awesome, pricy at $17 a bottle, but worth it!
