4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2016 Almost clear deep golden with a big white head. A rich, funked up aroma of tropical fruit, pine, berries and hints of onion. A hop-centric sweetish taste, no astringency, little sourness. Medium body, medium to high carbonation, sticky finish. I was expecting more sourness, got a nice IPA instead.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the bottle poured into Snifter, pours dark amber with intense bubbly white head. Nose of light citrus and malt. Taste is tropical orange fruits, some mango too. Finish herbal to fruity... Overall a nice and enjoyable beer with unfortunately some faint bite of bitrex in the finish... Lactic acid however is not really present...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy gold pour with a decent, long lasting white head. Slightly funky, passionfruit, peach, pine, mango - lots of tropical fruit in there, along with a bit of biscuity malt. Big, tropical fruit punch flavour with slight bit of sourness, nice bitterness cutting through that to finish off. Damn good.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl. bottle @ Home.
Aroma: not very intense but very good aromas of mango, peach, tropical fruits, grapefruit, hints of pine, resine. A not so quite pleasant aroma shows up when swirled.
Appearance: light golden color, a little bit of hazyness. Huge head. Perfectly white head. Very high retention. High Brussels’ lace.
Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, light-to-medium sourness. Flavors of tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit, pine. The sourness is perfectly well balanced with the sweetness and bitterness. Very pleasant and very good flavor.
Palate: light-to-medium body, watery-to-oily texture, average carbonation, very pleasant mouthfeel, long dry bitter finish of hops, tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit, resin, pine.
Overall: Very good appearance, aromas of mango, tropical fruits, peach, grapefruit. Very good flavor of tropical fruits, mango, pine and long dry bitter finish with similar flavors. Very refreshing and thirst quenching. I’m not a great fan of the sour beers, but this one has its sourness perfectly integrated and balanced with the sweetness and bitterness. A very good beer with low bitterness.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I’ll have to try this again, as I was drinking it while cooking and did not take proper notes. Quite a brilliant and perfectly done blend of APA and sour. Plenty of citrus in the nose from the hops, delicate sour in the palate, but dried out and balanced by the finishing hops. Appearance is wow - clear orange, superior thick lacing. Super and flawless. When I rate this out it comes out a bitter higher than I thought it would.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2016 500 ml can into tulip glass, best before 4/14/2017. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Desne soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, mango, berry, lemon, lime, melon, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, mango, berry, lemon, lime, melon, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy bitterness and light tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, mango, berry, lemon, lime, melon, pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an excellent pale ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. This felt like a regular pale ale vs the others in the series I have had. Very minimal sourness/acidity, but still very enjoyable as it is.
