Aroma of champagne, sour yeastiness, grapes and silty. Big white head, cloudy dark yellow. Sour slap in the face. Dry, bitter like pine, champaign, apples and smoked wood. Interestong, takes some zips before I started liking it.

Aroma of Brett funk, grapes, grapefruit, tart fruit, green apples, wood, hops. Flavour is nicely sour, with a light to moderate bitter finish. Carbonation is rather high. Very crisp, nicely balanced, quite drinkable. I really enjoyed this one.

McNeillR (1240) - SCOTLAND - SEP 16, 2014
Dense hazey dark golden, lasting sheath of a white head. Bullish tart nose, straw and farmhouse cloudy lemon sherbert. Inital taste through to the finish is a full on sour road block - gummy, vinious, dry, curt and jarringly tart - however this is suprisingly drinkable, in a rampant baby-steps kind of way. Softly spoken carbonation does it’s job to push things along the palate. Quenching lime and barrell roll of brett finish, drying and refreshing citrus wipe of a linger in equal measure. Wish I’d more of these for years to come.

Bottle, Great Grog, Edinburgh (BBF Feb ’19)

Bottle at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm, april 17th 2014. Dark orange, hazy, good white head. Aroma is pretty bretty, sour, flowers, grapefruit. Strong grapefruit presence. Light bittersweet tart fruity taste, good citric finish, strong lasting sourness, crisp and dry and my first thought is damn this is nice, I want another one. So I had. An excellent sour.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Sourish aroma. Starts sourish, salty, fruity like lemon. Finish still sourish, bit more bitter. Okay.
