3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy deep amber color, average sized but lasting off white head. Aroma is very fruity, malty, some hops came out too, some citrus notes, tarty, spicy.. quite good actually. Taste is sweet at first, but with quite strong sour aftertaste, with some bitterness too. Citrus, apricots, quite strong malt base, yeasty. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Very good stuff.

On tap at the Foundry. Drank this with the owners, Sonny and Sally, as we were kicking the keg. Their deScriptions matched, that this brew is not really any particular style but a hybrid Belgian style IPA. In any event, it is a quite pleasantly aromatic, yeasty sort of IPA. Enjoyable, complex, by no means overwhelmingly (sour or spicy) flavored or malty or hoppy... but rather than falling between two stools and failing, it slides in its own unique stool and succeeds. A good one.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orange-gold pour with a 1cm, marshmallow head which holds up very well. Pineapple, a little funky, a little yeast, tropical fruit aromas. Fruity, some pine, spicy, slightly sour, a nice amount of bitterness, cracking good beer

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy amber golden color, topped with a fairly big and very soapy white head. Not really lasting head. Mild fruity aroma, some gentle yeasty presence and a bit of that funky barn smell. Moderately bitter with quite yeasty and a bit spicy presence. Earty feel. Fairly decent. And Merry Christmas of course.

Tap at Station House, Forest Hills. Pours light orange, slightly yellow tinge. Aroma is lots of sour funk, tart lemon, and citrus notes. Flavor is sour, lemon, and again, citrus. Very solid.
