3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sounded very promising, but for me a bit out of balance. The alcohol, allthough only 7% is a bit too strong, and the bitterness could be a bit more balanced with a nice malty touch, maybe some more wheat.. The hops are clearly on the backgroudn as bittering, and the aroma’s of the hops are a bit pushed away by the brett. Very nice brew, but my expectations for TO Ol are always very high! :)

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle.Pinksh amber with a thick white head. Aroma of white peaches, sherbet, mandarins, slightly funky dough. Lovely creamy texture. Fruity and sweet with a dry and sharply spicy bitter and zingy finish. More bretty than first sniff told. It’s maybe a little empty in the middle for its strength and there’s a slight harshness to the finish, but plenty going for it. One to try again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at the Festival with James, pours amber brown with small to medium off white head and lacing. Aroma was dark fruit, ash, caramel malt, light spice, and yeast. Flavor was most of the same. Finishes somewhat dry. Wasn’t crazy about this

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tapped out a perfect cloudy amber color. 16ºSRM.
Nose is citrus, pine and its citrus character is more orange like with sweet, sour, bright and herbaceous. Pineapples and an estery sweetness. There is some residual funkiness in the nose, but really really brief, and not at all like when tasting a traditional Belgian farmhouse ale.
Mouthfeel is again carbonated. Again, I don’t mean to suggest light but instead I mean well-balanced, extremely well balanced with the carbonation elevating the heft of the sweet malt and the alcohol to produce a very pleasant palate of roasty flavors, made more complex by some nice nutty flavors suggesting peanuts, pecans and hazelnuts. The malty flavors are graham cracker, caramel and barley loaves. There is some residual "lactoid" heft to the palate and you begin to wonder if some lactobaciilus didnt fall into the mix.
Finish is briefly hoppy. Some might say pronounced but by my hophead standards, just right.
