Intenso color bruno-rossastro con soffice velo di schiuma beige. Sentori di luppolo e frutti rossi (ciliegie in primis), accoppiata che viene riproposta nel gusto con note di caramello, luppolo, frutta sciroppata e malti torrefatti. Incredibile equilibrio complessivo nonostante le sfumature molto diverse, corpo medio, struttura oleoso-setosa, effervescenza gentile, finale asciutto... Incredibile e dissetante!!

Dark brown body, ringed retention head. Mellow roast, pieney and pruney nose. Swells of vibrant tart unexpected so early on. Light wholemeal toastedness comes through before any smooth hops in a buttery mouthfeel. Slight sour towards the finish gives the impression this could have been more impressive than it finished on. Although with more balance I doubt it would’ve played out the same.

Keg at The Bat. Looks the part for sure. Lots of coffee and dark fruits on the nose. Taste follows this, but with something slightly sour, and roasted. bitter finish. Not bad, but wouldn’t have again.

Nera con schiuma marroncina fina e molto persistente.
Si sente molto il tostato del malto poi arriva il luppolo, amaro e fruttato.
Finale ancora con amarezza e un po’ di caffè.

Di colore nero, buon cappello di schiuma color nocciola. Al naso è un infuso di luppolo che copre parzialmente gli aromi dei malti tostati. In bocca si percepisce il roasted, il cacao amaro, il caffè. Finale intenso lunghissimo. A mio parere supera i parametri dello stile Black IPA.

Keg. Jet black with a few ruby hints and a thin light tan head. Nose is a hint of coffee and blackberries. Taste is interesting. First blackberry, then coffee and milkshake, then finally a dryness and a hit of bitter grapefruit. A bit of a taste rollercoaster. If the finish wasn't so harsh, is enjoy this a bit more.

Svart med lite skum. Røstet maltlukt. Velbalansert smak av kaffe og sjokolade. Litt bitter ettersmak. Melkebaren.

God ubestemmelig lukt. Frisk fruktig smak. Et godt lettdrukket mørkt øl. Mye bedre enn navnet skulle tilsi.
