Bottle at ACBF. Red wine, caramel, vanilla, highly oxidated, tastes a bit like a really old beer. Too bad.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2015 Re-rate from 37.5cl bottle from F.O.B., Rimini. It pours a dark murky amber-brown color with no head whatsoever. Aroma is big bold sweet notes of marsala, vanilla, raisins, dates, apricot jam. Taste is again sweet like a dessert wine, with more marsala, wine barrel, candied orange peel, apricot jam, vanilla. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, quite sweet but very tasty, could pound the whole bottle myself no problem.

Bouteille 37.5cl de Beer for Bunnies, Bologna. BB 09/2026, lotto# L11805. Couleur brune acajou, col quasi absent.

Brown, no head. Aroma: marsala (of course XD), nuts, wine, raisins, dried plum, wood. Palate: very warm and you can feel a bit of the alcohol Taste: nuts, light sourness, caramel, cherries. I liked it, but I prefer their other aged barley wine, Salty Dog, that’s a masterpiece!
