Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie , consumed at home Saturday 9th May 2015 Cloudy dark, murky, brown, very dirty puddle looking, no head. When you pour it, it actually looks thick. Sweet notes on the aroma, massively indulgent like a dessert wine, sweet woodiness. It’s 12% and you can tell it’s that strong.A7 A2 T7 P3 Ov15 3.4

Una sorta di esperienza onirica, mi ritrovo in un porto siculo, a bere una meraviglia di birra. Dolce, sentori nitidi di legno, prugne e suggestione di cacao, nitido il sentore di marsala, l’affinamento le dona una struggente bontà

Bottle at ACBF. Red wine, caramel, vanilla, highly oxidated, tastes a bit like a really old beer. Too bad.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2015 Re-rate from 37.5cl bottle from F.O.B., Rimini. It pours a dark murky amber-brown color with no head whatsoever. Aroma is big bold sweet notes of marsala, vanilla, raisins, dates, apricot jam. Taste is again sweet like a dessert wine, with more marsala, wine barrel, candied orange peel, apricot jam, vanilla. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, quite sweet but very tasty, could pound the whole bottle myself no problem.
