@ Gyllenbock 14-10-11: ganska diskret både smak och doft. Lite het och diskret maltig. Helt ok men lite tja... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

330 ml on tap at Birra+. Dark canary yellow, pretty hazy, with a pretty, creamy, forever lasting bright white head. Great lacing. Straight forward Tripel nose, plums, raisins, burnt caramel, a hint of alchool, brown sugar and yeast. Quite slick and warming, pleasent bready and sugary presence, again dark fruits. Relatively well hidden alchool. Soft carbonation, medium to full body, oily texture. Nice.

Bottle 75 cl from erzbierschof.ch. Hazy orangy beer with a short white head. Aromas of fruity malt, alcohol, syrup-toffy, yeast BE. The taste is very soft with an acidulity, well fruity with a marmelade of apricot, orange and grape, caramel, notes of citrus, bread, spices and yeast. Fat beer, a little heavy and cut-throat, alcohol and burning.

Pours orange with off white head. Smells of sweet, grass, and light hay. Tastes of yeast, hops, hay, and bitter. Has a light/medium carbonation with a refreshing finish.

Bottle @ 2nd Tuesday Tasting. Pours a clear, almost headless golden beer. The small amount of head is white. Aroma has cloves. nutmeg and apples. Fairly herbal with fruity touches. Slight vineous characters as well. Flavor has touches of apple, vinegar and is very stringent. Not sure if this was an infected bottle, or that this is supposed to be this way. I did not like it that much unfortunately.

Swaroga (1394) - Brussels, BELGIUM - NOV 2, 2013
75cl bottle. Hazy orange with big, dirty white head. NOSE : strong citrus zest aromas, pine, herbal, banana, pepper, tart, pear, cherry. Complex nose. SIP : medium body with strong carbonation. Creamy texture. This strongly carbonated brew is all about sweet tart and fruits on the beginning. Candied fruits in tart would be the best way to explain it. The flavors are bursting with orange and zest background. Further on bitter and dry aromas are starting to dominate till the end. They carry aromas of hay, pepper, zest, citrus seeds. Aftertaste is bitter expressed with orange zest and herbal notes. It comes back like a Fanta with spicy clove and booze. OVERALL : high carbonation and strongly hopped. This beer is a delight. I would like more bitterness and more creamy texture to make it easier to swallow but still this is a huge beer and worth tasting.
