Clear orange body and a mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is malty, sweet, with a lot of fruits, some light hops. In the mouth delivers sweet malts, many fruits, light yeast and hoppy notes hiding the high alcoholic volume. Medium body and lively carbonation, perhaps too complex overall!

draught @ festa dell’unità Bologna. Pours golden with a great white head on top. Malt’s sweet aroma is well balanced with a good hop’s bitterness. Great beer.

Birra assolutamente fantastica! Birra in stile fantastica!

Cloudy mud brown beer, little off white head. Light and semi dry palate. Sweetish malt, traces of bubblegum and banana. A whisper of milk chocolate and a pinch of spice. Well integrated orange. Finishes dry with more sweet esters.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small head. Aroma is fruits, spices, sweet malts, some yeast and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is very similar otherwise, but the alcohol is rather well-hidden.

[750ml bottle courtesy of cgarvieuk] Deep brownish amber pour. Decent, fluffy white head. Aromas of sweet, fruity malt. Quite light on the palate, the malt balance is really nice. Sweet, caramel finish. Reminds me of an English bitter or Brown Ale – except its 9%! Really hides the alcohol well [02062011]
