COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"When Chase Healey from Prairie Artisan Ales came for a visit, we brewed this Brett Belgian Ale, paying homage to a world famous Trappist ale, to the legend of Matilda of Tuscany and the connection between Canossa and Orval Abbey, and Chase’s state of birth, Oklahoma. No further explanation needed, right? Only available on a limited number of bottles, starting in February."

75cl bottle from Grand Cru, Rimini. It pours a hazy amber color with a large white head. Aroma is funky bretty lightly lemony and grassy, with notes of ripe peaches, mango, grass, lemon peel and hay. Taste is again lightly funky, bretty, lemony, grassy, zesty with more tropical fruit salad, funk, brett and lemon. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, nice funky pale ale.

Pours a deep golden copper color with three fingers of tight eggshell foam. Nose is a nice blend of rustic toasted malts, fruity yeast and some grassy hop presence. Palate is smooth and balanced with perfect harmony of hops, yeast and malt profile. Light barnyard character mingles with fresh toasted malts, floral fieldgrass, soft floral citrus bitterness and a hint of round sweet malt to round out the perfect carbonation level. Deliciously executed !

In bottiglia da 75cl. Colore arancio, velata, con schiuma fine e persistente. Sentori lattici, caramello, erbaceo e fruttato finale non molto intensi. Al palato corpo leggero e scorrevole con sentori lattici, lime con malto e caramello. Finale speziato-erbaceo con frutta esotica in sottofondo. Buona bevuta

Golden peach pour with one finger white head that dissipates and leaves a layer. Nice bretty, yeasty and funky nose. Cob webs and yeast with a citrus lilt. Wet at first then dry as a bone. Medium body with an average palate. Taste is dominated by dusty Brett's, vinyl and yeast. Some funk and citrus zest. Nice enough. Over bretty.
