Dark brown/black, with brown/reddish glares, no head. Aroma: wood, basement, feet, balsamic, cardboard, a bit of vinegar, definitely a lot of off-flavours. Taste: a lot of wine, plums, wood, coffee, licorice, a bit of spices and hops (herbs and resin). It starts sweet with some sourness in the end. Palate: oily, no carbonation, very warm, a bit astringent Overall it didn’t convince me much, the aroma is too rich of off-flavours and I didn’t like it.

Tap at Borefts Beer Festival 2014. Pours pitch black with a small, brown, oily head. Aroma is red vinous, roasted, brown sugar, heavy, bitter roast, wood, tanins and cherry. Taste has SO much wine barrel charater: Dry, red grapes, slight sour, slight bitter, grape peel, some roast and a subtle, sugary sweetness. Mad execution, but it doesn’t blend together that well in my opinion. Medium full body and low carbonation.

Pitch black colour, white head. Fruity aroma, chocolate, coffee, big brett, hint wine. Malty flavour, roasted malts, coffee, light sour brett, cherry notes. Finish berries, red fruits, coffee, brett. Nice!!!!

shared bottle by a friend, poured a deep black colour with no head, just some bubbles on top. lot of funky brett in the nose, chocolate, red fruits, grapes, oak, red wine, toffee, caramel, bit weak carbonated, some light acid taste in the back, bit to ’funky’ for my stouts, but pretty enjoyable do

@ Borefts 2014. Pour pitch black, with as good as no head. Aroma is packed with chocolate, bitter coffee, salty licorice, some roasted malts as well. The taste is super sweet, with a good dose of bitterness. Some "red wine tannins" with some acidic wood in the way back. Slighly oily body, with a flat carb. A little unbalanced imo.

Tasting at Borefts 2014, Bodegraven Netherlands. Black body, no foam, only some soapy bubbles. Aoma is chocolatee, oak, some wine, aome unexpected spoilness )probably from the Brett). Taste was too oaky, with the sourness from the wine, some dark fruits and chocolate. Strong aftertaste. Full body with low to no carbonation. Not my thing maybe.

Sampled @ Borefts. A bit weird beer.. thin, little body.. The begin is sour but the end sweet. Hints of red wine. Not so compelling beer.

Bottle at Borefts 2014. Black beer. Big chocolate sponge cake. Then huge red wine flavour. Wow red wine. Not much carbonation. Love the red wine.

On tap @ Borefts 2014. #21. Body is pitch black, Head is small, beige, mostly diminishing. Nose is wine, Aroma is light caramel, roasty, mild coffee, alcohol. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, light alcohol sour. Finish is medium sweet, medium roasty bitter, medium alcohol sour. Full body, oily texture, nearly flat carbonation. Nice roasty dessert beer, a bit too much alcohol for me.
