3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 25, 2011
750ml bottle (Alvinne Beershop)
7 Beautifully light crisp belgian aroma, bright and flowery, and blond-like hoppiness.
4 Hazy gold, lovely tight creamy head. Ice cream float head on the right type of glass. Adding yeas makes it fairly turbid.
7 Crossover blonde-saison taste. Very herby retronasals. Slight sharp sourness, and a little aggressive. Mellowed a lot by the addition of yeast.
3 Thin palate, crisp carbonation. Slightly sacchariney bitter finish.
13 Plusses and minuses, does go downhill after the lovely aroma. The yeast that improves the taste alas mutes the aroma.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Koelschtrinker (8479) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 5, 2011
9/10/11/11/12/12

Bottle. Pours a hazy white golden body with a scant white head and no lacing. Spicy, floral and earth tones. Didn’t get much DMS, here as some of the others. Pepper like spices, spritzy carbonation, grassy hop tones, and an herbal slight vegetative undertone. Nice dry grass and herbal finish. Nice.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 4, 2011
750 ml bottle thanks to Slayer85! Pours a nice very light hazed blonde/yellow body with a medium white head- some lace. Aroma when cold is a bit too DMS for me- mostly canned cream corn, slight oxidation some wheaty doughy malts, corn and cream of wheat, light herbal character and light phenol, yeast,. Flavor is less DMS, stays more cracker and wheat, straight forward, ligiht saison character, belgian yeast, phenolic some herbs and spice, mostly clean and mostly dry in the finish- the DMS fades slightly as it warms and gets more grassy hoppy in the aroma. So it finishes off a bit better than it started as. Ok.

750mL thanks to Bruno at the brewery! +1 for awesome label! The pour is a hazy SRM 4 witbier with a huge, bright white head. Excellent retention. Aroma is yeasty, juicy orange, pineapple, yellow apples, fresh lemon, sugar. Taste is sugary, malty, oatmeal, sweet, dry, full. Could be a bit more bitter and herbal. Palate is oily, malty, rich. Very nice.
