Bottle 75 cl. Clear amber with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Some caramel in the nose and somewhat perfumy hops. Medium body, quite fruity and caramelish with a solid dose of hops in the finish. Would’ve loved a more refined hop profile though. 171210

June 5th 2010. Bottle at Domus Birrae. Cloudy amber beer. Tiny white head. Dry malt, very dry - grrrr! But at least it’s fresh! Some well behaved semi sweet hops cuts through. Finishes minerally and crisp.

Bottle from Birratrovo, como
Hazy dark amber color; medium-sized creamy head. Wonderful perfumed aroma, fruity hops (Cascade, Amarillo?), light cheese. Medium body structure, dark caramel and toffee flavor, with strong bitterness, moderately resiny, lightly fruity; there is an evident yeast presence, as noted in the aroma, adding some pleasant complexity and creating a rather harsh palate. Long final. It reminds me some Swedish (good) IPA. Very pleasant.
