Bottled 0,75L. Dark and deep reddish color, much fraught with a modest bubbly aspect, very bulky and creamy head of long resistance. Rich and realy perfumed nose, fresh hop notes with cellar, yeast, aged grapes and caramel notes. Much solid and a little mellow taste, elevated alcoholic perception, binding, very hoppy body with a little reddish vinous final. Modest bitter content at the end.

Pours dark amber, almost brown with practically no head. Very malty aroma, lots of clean malt. Also some resinous pine and toasty notes. Similar flavours. Lots of malt, some toasty notes and a big pine and grapefruit hit. Assertive bitterness, but the malt wins out. Needs more carbonation.

Draught at Ölrepubliken. Dark amber color with rich hop induced foam. Rich fruity nose with pine from hops along with caramel. Juicy and fruity flavor with green hops (meaning a lot of it) show of well with piney notes and a distinct bitterness. A double IPA with good things from both hops and malt. Very well balanced, at lead in the style.

Bottled. Pours hazy amber with a medium sized beige head, that leaves a fair lacing. Nose of citrus fruits, pine, caramel and bread notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and bitter and with alcohol notes. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and soft CO2. An excellent 2xIPA.★★★★

09-NOV-2012, bottle from Fish & Beer, @Ulkløbben meeting @my place. Hazy amber with tan head. Malty sweet aroma with heavy hops. Taste actually much hoppier than aroma. Very malty even for an IIPA. A barley wine? Never had a bad Toccalmatto and this i very fine again.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff mai-12: tok bare et bilde av denne, så jeg støtter meg til Asle Bjørn: Muddy hazelnut body with a creamy, tan colored film. Rich malty sprucy nose. Sweet fruity hoppy bitter mouth. Full bodied. Doughy texture. Lasting finish. Må derfor prøves igjen.
