Bottle @ UDRM. Aroma has fruity hops mainly. Hazy, brown coloured beer with an off-white, medium head. The taste is bitter hoppy, little sweet, little caramel and a lot of fruits. Nice balance, quite good!

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2010 Had this one @ Unofficial Dutch Ratebeer Meeting. Red, brown colored brew. Hoppy aroma. Flavor is hoppy, amarillo?, some sweetness, good balanced brew.

imperial pale ale presents a dark red almost borwn colour with tiny brown head. aromas were quite different nd hard to find ranging from berries and agrumes to red wine and caramelized malty notes. presents medium bitterness and pronouncd hoppy notes. the alcoholic taste is well hidden

Bottle @ RB meeting by Joes. A clear light brown/orange colored beer, with a foamy beige head. The aroma op hop bitters, amarillo and fruits. The taste is gentle moving to hop bitter. Notes of fruits with a little sweet. The aftertaste is bittersweet.

Bottle @ UDRM, Oirschot. Amarillo hops, red berries and grapefruit in the aroma. Medium to full bodied. Oily, very fruity hopbitter flavor with yeasty notes and rosebuds, toffee, red berreis and grapefruit. Very nice brew.

spillata all’ibf.. molto buona.. colore rosso intenso schiuma poco persistente... al naso molto resinosa leggermente agrumata floreale... corpo massiccio, malti caramellati finale secco buon amaro

mamma mia che birra!!!! decisamente equilibrata e profumata. molto bilanciata, non sembra neanche poi così alta di gradazione! al palato molto buono l’amaro che lascia in tutta la bocca! Veramente un Ottima birra!!!!!

Bottle at Dutch RB meeting. Pours a beautiful clear deep orange to copper color with a creamy thick off-white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma of amarillo hops, floral and fruity. The flavor is slightly watery, mildly hopped and bitter with some sweet fruits in the end. Well balanced and very drinkable.

750 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Cloudy dark brown colour, big to moderate beige head. Lovely aroma of American hops, fruity, piney and resinous notes. The flavour is extremely hoppy from start to finish, but has also a substantial malty sweetness. A bit too much of both sweetness and hops, IMHO. Still, clearly a craft brew well worth samling.

Bevuta alla pompa @ Pazzeria. Allo ha sicuramente migliorato questa birra estrema portandole un equilibrio che precedentemente non aveva. I profumi che vanno a bilanciare il gusto amaro sono eccelsi. Comunque rimane sempre ampiamente meglio alla spina che in bottiglia. Ottima !
