Shared with 2 others, at the end of our night. I was already a bit tipsy so I dont remember much. It was nice, but not so easy going. Not the best DIPA. A bit more malty than normal, but I enjoyed it.

Bottle, shared march 16th 2013. Dark red/brown body, big tanned head. Aroma is flowery with grapefruit, peach and pine, while the taste is an exotic fruit explosion with a balancing caramel malt presence, matched with a robust bitterness. Aftertaste is quite malty, though the bittering hops don’t fail to impress. Another very enjoyable beer from Toccalmatto.

750 ml bottle. 19002. BB 01/14. From Italy. Courtesy of Brandman. Dark cerise colour with a tiny light tan head. Sweet caramel malt, Belgian yeasty notes and sweetish hoppiness in the aroma. It seems to be quite balanced. The flavour is bitterish hoppy with piney notes and a lots of malty sweetness. Very strong sweetness. Not very tasty foa a DIPA. Super malty. Is this Barley Wine? Or DIPA? It's balanced but as I said not that traditional DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Alc 8.5. Dark amber offwhite head. Aroma has dark caramel, some soapy hoppiness - orange, some tobacco, resiny. Quite sweet and dark caramelly. More like barley wine than IIPA. Not my kind, but nice.

From a growler purchased at Oak Barrel, Sydney. 8.5% ABV. Appears hazy chestnut brown with faint reddish hue and a small off white head. I get strong crystal malty aromas with notes of resin, pine needle, dark fruits and pink grapefruit. Palate is smooth and malty with a long dry bitter hop finish that satisfies and doesn’t overpower. Carbonation is quite low and there is a soft alcoholic presence as well. Quite light bodied for the ABV. Enjoyed this one.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Hazy orange-brown coloured with a small off-white ehad. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, hops, pine needles and alcohol. Fruity flavour of hops, grass and grapefruits with notes of citrus peel. Dry hoppy finish. Low carbonated.

Bottled 0,75L. Dark and deep reddish color, much fraught with a modest bubbly aspect, very bulky and creamy head of long resistance. Rich and realy perfumed nose, fresh hop notes with cellar, yeast, aged grapes and caramel notes. Much solid and a little mellow taste, elevated alcoholic perception, binding, very hoppy body with a little reddish vinous final. Modest bitter content at the end.
