3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 75cl. It pours an unclear, golden body under a dense, two-finger white head. The aroma has some citrus and flowers, with pine cones, belgian yeast and a touch of peppers. Pale malts. The flavor is pleasant, with pale malts, some spiced hints, flowers, saison yeast and a nice bitterness. Dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. A bit short finish, mostly fruity, with some pleasant bitterness and spiced hints. Overall, a quite tasteful and nice one, certainly a beer I could have again. 140418

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Beautiful list misty light golden body and creamy head. Fresh, zesty, light funk, cheesy yeast, crisp, herbal hop base and simply really pleasant. Drinks well too, just enough bitterness and a lemony zesty ending. Dry enough and we’ll developed with a particularly nice bitter aftertaste. Glad I had a 75cl bottle of this stuff, it’s really really good! (75cl bottle from La Cave à Bulles)

17th March 2014
Craft Islington. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and airy with a fine stinging carbonation. Light floralness and a whisper of herbs. Mild but zingy lemon led citrus fruits. Twangy yeast before a crisp finish. A bright refreshing saison that went down well after a cask porter.
