Das Bier ist lt. Etikett ein "Pacific India Pale Ale" und wird mit neuseeländischem und japanischem Hopfensorten gebraut. Das Frontetikett zeigt verschiedene japanische Militärflugzeuge des zweiten Weltkrieges vor der rot-weißen japanischen Kriegsflagge, eingerahmt von grünem Hopfen. Diese Farbkombination findet sich auch in der italienischen Flagge wieder und schlägt so den Bogen vom Pacific India Pale Ale in das Herstellungsland Italien - wahrlich meisterhaft! Im Geruch sehr angenehm nach Maracuja mit leicht würzigen Tönen. Im Start süßlich und nach Maracuja. Dann stärkere Bitterkeit, fruchtig, aber auch würzige Akzente. Im Abgang würzig-bitter vermischt mit einer fruchtigen Trockenheit. Unterscheidet sich schon merkbar von amerkanischen IPA‘s, ist allerdings deswegen nicht minder gut einzuschätzen. Vielleicht hätte der Geschmack noch eine Spur kräftiger sein können - das Bier gefällt trotzdem ohne jeden Zweifel.Test vom 2.11.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche

(75cl bottle best by 9-21-11 thanks to bu11zeye) clear medium-light yellow with lasting creamy head and super fine bubbles. Nose of bright citrus, caramel, melon, honeydew and honey. Taste of rye, cracker, pine, umami and caramel. Creamy body with a bitter linger.

Hand pump at Birra artigianale di Qualità Milan. Very thick white head. Hazy blond pour. Lovely citrus bitterness. Gorgeous!

A hazed golden ale with a thicj lacing light moka head. In aroma, a tropical fruit salad of hops, mangoes, Nelsin Sauvin hops, pinhey, superb. In mouth, a smooth well balanced IPA with white grapes, catnip wild herbs, and light grapefruits, very smooth and balanced. On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, July 12 2011. 5 euros.

Profumi molto forti di frutta matura.Amaro secco e un po’ allappante.Si beve bene.

Birra ambrata dal corpo medio. Bella schiuma fine e molto persistente. Al naso emergono immediatamente i sentori agrumati e di frutta esotica. Il finale è secco con retrogusto amaro, resinoso di lunga persistenza.

Hazy deep blond color. Delicate, nice aroma, citrusy hops. Good flavor of dry toffee, citrusy hops and orange peel, strong bitterness. Quite original American Pale Ale.

Amber orange with a lasting small head. Thanks to the use of Sorachi Ace you can find fruity notes in it. A good combination of sweet and bitter. Leaves a pleasant aftertaste of grapefruits and orange

draft@Chez Moeder Lambic: hazy orange with a white creamy head, smells like Sorachi Ace hops, sweet blue cheese as well as also flower, grapefruit & grass hops, taste is slightly bitter as well as slightly sweet, fruity, grapefruit, mandarin, dried apricot, incl. bitter fruit, some pine & caramel, aftertaste is dry & bitter but also has a slightly weird herbal taste to it, med. body

IPA molto particolare e ben fatta con sentori di frutti tropicali e finale secco.Complimenti!!!
