Bang! Had this on tap at Moerder Lambic in Brussels. Asked for something hoppy and the guy smiled and poured my buddy and I some of this. Looked like a nice orangey, opaque IPA with a huge white head. Fantastic floral hoppy flavor. Good bitter start and nice floral finish. Well-done...if I could buy this easily in the USA, it would proudly sit beside my West Coast IPA’s. Nice job, Italy!

On tap at Moeder Lambic. Rich key lime pie aroma with sweet light caramel. Slightly hazy orange under lacy white wisps. Gently sweet caramel malt behind a blast of fresh lime hops and assertive bitterness. Very well balanced. Medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp.

75 cl bottle @ hotel room, Rome. BBE 13.12.2015.
Pours golden color with a large head. Loads of citric fruits on the aroma, caramel and hops, Sorachi Ace is noticeable. Grapefruits and lime on the flavor, resinous hops and some gooseberries. Bitter palate, medium carbonation, lingering grapefruit finish. I’m not a big fan of SA hop variety but it’s okay in this one. Good but not quite as good as I was expecting.

Aroma has fruity hops and some odd citrus fruit. Also some malty notes and caramel. Flavour has strong lime notes, lemon, some grapefruit and mild caramel notes. Finishes with menthol. Both flavour and aroma contain some unpleasant component (Sorachi Ace?).

Tap. Italian Job, Chiswick. Hazy gold. Thin, sticky, messy, white head. Honeyed malts. Big Sorachi. Lovely spice to it. Taste is soft bitter. Some fruity sweetness. Smooth, airy palate. Soft carbonation. The fruity, spicy bitterness builds to the end.
