33 cl. Bottle. Cinnamon, green apple, speculaas, light caramel. Could be infected. Hazy brown orange with lace. Very spicy, rather sweet, cookies and cinnamon. Not terrible, but not so interesting either. Light body. Rather bitter finish from the spice.

330ml Bottle - Hazy copper with a small head. Gingerbread, dried fruit and some floral notes in the aroma. Sweet, spicy and fruity taste with ginger, floral hops and yeast standing out. Quitce nicely balanced and easy to drink considering the amount of spices and the abv.

Koperkleurig met offwhite schuim. Nootmuskaat, kaneel, suiker. Niet echt speculaas, maar dat is niet erg. Zoet. Beetje waterig.

330cc bottle. Pours clear brown with tanned head. A bit caramel but mostly a blen of spices: nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. A bit biscuity. Sweet and gives that speculaas taste in the back without being too exaggerated. Nice medium mouthfeel for the abv. Drinks nicely but 330cc is enough

Brune acajou, effervescence faible, col beige tombe rapidement. Principalement maltée, légèrement torréféiée, cannelle et sucre de canne (ingrédients principaux du speculoos) bien présents. Original!

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbeer Festival 2014. Pours clear brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, big floral notes, speculaas, cinnamon. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with over moderate carbonation.

330 ml. bottle from Willems & Zoon. Bottle claims the 4 standard beer ingredients & elder flowers, I am not buying that one for even a second! Pours a hazy brownish amber with no head, okay. Smell is crazy chemical speculoos dough & artificial sweetener, really artificial. Taste is extremely odd chemical speculoos, huge amounts of nutmeg, way too much, artificial sweeteners & flavors, light cinnamon, some plastic in the end, crazily sweet. Carbonation is very high & body feels artificial as well. Such a weird & artificial beer. Bizarre.
