3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A tasty and inoffensive stout that reminds me of some decent Oyster Stouts I’ve had in the past. For those fearing a fishy or sea-ish flavour, don’t worry. It’s mostly just a nice toasted malt and coffee blend with the umami having more in common with sesame than seaweed.
Very approachable lunchtime stout, great alongside a sandwich at a pub.
