3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Glenfiddish Warehouse No. 68, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy brown colour with a thick beige foam. Citrousy and quite flowery hop aroma with notes of nectarines and red gooseberries. Hints of smoke and hot spices. Full-bodied and really bitter flavour of grapefruit, grass, roasted malts, smoke, nuts, spices and orange-peels. Long bitter finish of grass, orange-peels, rubber and smoke. Not your typical IPA with the smoke and roastiness. Interesting and tasty.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Chestnut coloured beer. Fruity and vinous aroma, some smoke. The flavour has oak and smoke - but they say the beer contains no smoked malts. "Raw in the edges". Fairly dry.

A Mes rate:
Bottle at RBESG. Dark brown coloured with a reasonably impressive head. Peaty whiskey, lovely smoky malt with a nice dry finish. Luscious mouthfeel. Long smokiness in the finish lasted all the way untill the next beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown colour, pretty big head. Fatty hoparoma along with distinct smokiness(I was told smoked malt was not used here, which seems weird). Pineaplle also sensed. Fatty hops an smoke dominates flavour very much, and the smoke play first violin in the aftertaste. The smoke lasts like forever it seems. Weird fruity esters. Very smokey. Berry jam is here. Smoked IPA?

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at GFW68. Oh yes! This is the stuff. Not only insanely hopped, but with a complexity of flavours that continue to amaze. Will search out again! The rest of Swedish microbrewers will have to watch out - Ölands is proving themselves with every brew!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
(33 cl bottle at The Rover, Göteborg) Clear dark brown color, thick tan head. Fruity and chocolate scent, also hoppy. Bitter taste with malt and a bit fruity. Smooth mouthfeel, big bitterness. The bitterness is concentrated to the toungue though, not so much in the back of the throat. Not well balanced for my taste, I want more maltiness and a bit sweeter.
