Cask @ The Market Porter. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are wood, whisky notes, malt fruits and hops.

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Rich gold colour. Not much happening in the aroma department. Clean, notably dry and refreshing with a little citric hop bite, and some grassy touches, on the palate. Decent enough but the flavours don’t have huge depth.

Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2006
Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Mild hops with a slight minty edge? A little malt and a yeasty bitter finish.

Cask, Birmingham Fest 05. Golden with a small white head. Aromas are grain, butter and mellow lemon and apricot. Flavours are caramel malts with apricot and citrus, hints of biscuit, quite buttery on the palate. Dry on the finish.

maeib (8391) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2005
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Birmingham Beer Festival. A golden coloured beer with the best condition of any I had at the fest. The aroma has the same tired off-fruits the others suffered from. The taste is a little grassy and it appears that lager hops may be used. It is a touch sulphuric and again disappointing.

imdownthepub (9623) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2005
Cask Conditioned at The Waggon & Horses, Tipton, W.Midlands. Hazed Golden beer with little head. A little on the sweetish side, but still a hoppy bitter with a tangerine type flavour in the background. Fully flavoured with a maltiness to the end where it has a late dry hoppiness.
