Bottle. Orange and slightly cloudy. Fruity aroma with hops and fruits dominating. Some bitterness and left some lacing. Not really an IPA but quite a reasonale bier.

Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford Spring Beer Fest. Amber with slight head. Light bitter with floral notes through the body, some lemon citric character from hops but quite understated. A sweetish undertone, ultimately just a little bland.

Bottle courtesy of my dad, had this 28-06-08 Some fruit and malts combine on the aroma of this copper coloured beer. Its fruity and there’s some citrus other than that I’m struggling to find much else, though it tastes fine I suppose.

DruncanVeasey (7134) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2008
The Black Horse, Walcote. Tangy thick red gold heavy with grapefruity citrus again. Fruity and full bodied enough to approach IPA-dom. Just a splash of woody grain and some alcohol as you drain the glass. Slightly outshone by the Leeds Pale, but a tasty drop.

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Deep gold/amber colour. Prominent grassy hop aroma with a touch of pine. More well structured hop character on the palate. A little biscuity malt. Juicy, fruity mouthfeel. Very drinkable.
