Cask, ’The Joy of Six’ Merchantfest ’08, Rugby, as Highwood H&G. Headless orange amber. Sickbowl aroma, with some hop mustiness and sweet vegetables. Messy. Creeping hop character mingled with vegetable water, sulphur. Earthy, dank, nutty and wrong. Or is it?

Cask. Holborn JDW’s. Golden colour / thin white head. Fruity aroma with loads of hops. Taste is hoppy and well balanced. A light, refreshing and drinkable bitter. Worth a try!

Three Judges. Aroma is Is pale malts with grassy hop and hints of hop resin. Taste is similar and very drinkable.

Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Clear golden. Orangey and marmelady nose. Sweet and fruity. Minerally with notes of soap and sulphur. Rounded mouthfeel. Undefined minerally bitter finish.

Cask Handpump at the Alexandra, Derby 12/07/2007 Hoppy and slightly citrus aroma. Golden coloured fruity hoppy and a little sour. Some dryness and roast in a crisp finish.
