Some bitterness in the finish. hughie (2059), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jan 13, 2007 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Faint malt aroma. Fruit (Seville orange, perhaps) and malt taste. Peppery mid bitter finish. Not bad. harrisoni (4930), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 10, 2006 Cask handpull at Crosse Keys JDW, London. Deep copper in colour with thin beige head. Earthy citric hop aroma. Good malts in mouth, which take on the darkish side. Finish crries on this grapefruit/lemon hop trend with a mix of choc. Never gets sweet though. Really accomplished bitter
