A golden hued hoppy beer with gentle maltiness and a refreshingly dry aftertaste. Perfect for drinking as the sun goes down, whatever the season.

Cask (Black Door, Helsinki)
5 Camembert aroma, touch of smoke too.
3 mid orange, tiny head
5 more of the cheese in the taste, a bit more wooliness too, some lacticity too.
3 a touch drying and nut papery, but apart from the cheesiness I’ve scored in taste and overall there’s nothing bad about the palate, it’s a dry bitter. of course the dryness is possibly spoilage too.
10 clearly past its prime, but you can tell there’s a full-bodied bitter behind it. Should rerate.
