50 cl. bottle sampled @ Barley Legal Tasting Room. Thanks to Dave, Man-ki & Michiel for the bottle! Pours a dark brown, small brown head. Smell is pleasant mix of berries, roasted malts, liquorish, instant coffee powder & light ash. Tastes of lightly bitter roots, liquorish, coffee powder, faint fish guts note you encounter in some lagers, touch powdery, berries, quite uniform overall still. Bit too light body & I should have drank it way colder than I did. Not bad at all, this beer must be a blessing in a place like Croatia. Thanks for the bottle, nice stuff.

Bottle to proper glassware at Caffe Bar Drama in Split. When we ordered the beer the bartender said "You know this is a black beer?" Because everything else in Croatia is fizzy yellow water. Pours a dark brown without much of a head. The taste is the least malty Baltic Porter Ive ever had but it was a welcomed change of pace from the industrial pilseners all week.
