onceblind (2532) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 23, 2012

On hand at Wynkoop’s United Tastes of Belgium 2012. Dark brown but still transparent, with a fluffy off-khaki head. The nose was a little too dusty and roasty for my liking--didn’t come together so well. The flavor was a little better, with some dark roasty sweet malts and a faint whisper of farmhouse yeast...not complex enough. Pretty simple.
