rocbyter (586), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Mar 25, 2008 Very light aroma. I think I smell a little apple. Hazy amber color with small tan head. Begins with a malty and nutty. Nuts fade in the finish leaving a sticky palate in the back of the mouth.
obxdude10 (1387), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 15, 2008 There was virturally no head on this whatsoever, and left a minimal amount of lacing. This beer poured a brown color and featured a sweet and malty nose with hints of caramel and bread. The flavors were deep and strong with notes of bread, sweet malt and toffee. The finish and aftertaste was very sweet and malty. I can’t say this is one of the better bock beers I’ve tasted, but it isn’t the worst. It isn’t something to write home about, that’s for sure. Pretty average. crazyvin (1052), New York, USA Jul 12, 2008 on Tap, poured a medium brown clear hue with a barley recogonizable white head. A nice caramel and bread malt notes on the aroma. Sweet flavor cloying notes throughout. Warming alcohol finish. gotohelunc (322), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Jul 10, 2008 Bottle, part of a cheap ass mixes 6er. I had no idea this beer was strong until right now. It’s overly malty, very sweet and roasty.
