Clear medium amber, no head, no lace. I didn’t expect much more than a flat beer; instead I was pleasantly surprised with the big flavor. Sweet caramel malt with a burnt toast flavor that arrives just before a tangy carbonation blast nearly covers the mild hop balance at the finish. Lingering at the end is a definite warm touch of alcohol.

Poured from tap to glass. Amber hue with off white head. Aroma is clean malt through and through, taste is malty up front with a nice CO2 and sulphur finish. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and zesty carbonation. Overall this is a nice bock.

Perfect amber brown in color with almost no head and a thin white collar. Aroma is caramel malt and toasted nuts. Taste is a good crisp caramel maltiness, toffee, and nuttiness again. Light body and low to medium carbonation. Pretty good, but not what I think of in a doppelbock.

Very nice brew! Has a caramel flavor w/ a touch of bitterness in the end to really round it out. Dark copper pour w/out much of a head. Good sweet malty aroma. I’m a fan!

12 oz bottle from Party Source from notes. Pours brown with a slight reddish tint and a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have moderately sweet caramel malt, moderate roasted malt, dark fruits like plum and cherries, some metallic notes to the finish, some warming alcohol. Pretty basic mouthfeel.

Carmel, toffee syrupy and medium body and mild warming from alcohol. A little on the sweet side for my taste but that doesn’t make it a miss. Well made and would be a good warmer sipper by the fire.

bottle. Brownish with one finger head. Substantial malt body. Nuts and caramel. Moderate booze and some light hops. Slightly better as it warms, but seems a bit harsh.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A syrupy sweet beer that plays on flavors of caramelized sugar and a clean style that doesn’t add much else. Upon looking for different characteristics within this beer I realized there were only faint flavors pushing past the sweet toffee and caramel notes. Nothing too significant, which is the same way to think about this beer.

Wow, someone at the brewery likes sweet beers, I however, do not. On draft, deep brown to red in the tulip glass with almost no head. Aroma of sugary caramel candy, some dark fruit notes, hints of vanilla, alcohol burn in the taste, mouthfeel is like carpet from the sweetness.
