Tommyknockers were mischievous elves who slipped into mining camps with the Cornish miners in the 1800s. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Tommyknocker Brewery, this special brew is meticulously crafted with pure maple syrup, the highest quality chocolate and crystal malts and is accented with the finest blend of European and American hops. Imperial Nut Brown Ale is a bigger, bolder version of our wildly popular Maple Nut Brown.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours hazy brown with red around the edges of the glass, no head. The aroma has roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, a bit of something off though. The taste has light chocolate, is a bit roasty, lightly bitter but overly boozy. It really detracts from the taste.

Knäckig smak med växande beska i munnen. En rostad maltighet hänger kvar i gommen tillsammans med russinsötma.

One of the better nut brown ales I have had. Really flavorful super hoppy with a malty finish. Smells malty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Clear brown pour, very red actually, quite pretty. Aroma is quite nutty, well done there, molasses notes, fruity and a tad boozy. Taste of rich caramel malts, nutty, kind of reminiscent of a Belgian quad. Heavy body, low carbonation. Nice sipper.

This is a heavy brown ale. And definitely has a nutty aroma and taste. When hitting the slopes in the rockies, this beer will warm you up with a bear hug that’ll keep you coming back for more!

Slightly sweet taste with bitter overwhelming aftertaste that tends to linger. Color is darker than expected.

12oz bottle served in a snifter. Pours dark brown and hazy. Some sediment at the bottom of the bottle was included (intentionally) in the pour. The tiny head soon dies away, leaving little lacing. Sweet and rich aroma with hints of toffee and maple over a solid roasted malt base, with dates and some other dark fruits. A rich, fruity and malty flavor, as the aroma suggests. Hints of raisins, dates and toffee. Good sweet/bitter balance for this flavor profile. Medium body and carbonation. O: Very nice, and rather fruity, maple brown. High ABV is partly hidden. Better with some warming
