COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Asc. Gold Medal

Good brew. Pours a slightly cloudy light amber. Malt and citrus in the aroma, also a touch of grass. Light on the palate with notes of citrus and grass. Taste is very smooth and refreshing. I can definitely sense the lemon grass there. A great warm summer day beer.

(Keg at Tommyknocker Helsinki, 20150722) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and farmhouse characteristics. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were mild sourness, sweetness, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A rather weak spicy wheat ale.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2015 Draught @ tommyknocker beer bar. Unclear amber, thick white head. Aroma has some offensive sweet glue notes, red berries? Weird. Flavor has ripe berries, citrus, sourness. Thin body. Feels like this is not in best shape, a wheat ale should not be this sour?

Bottle@tkcbb. Orange. Doughy yeasty, wheat malty nose. Sort of wheat ale. Some spices, coriander seeds, us bland wheatyness. This is a wheat ale, bland, and slight messy. Has some golden honeyness too, but already lost interest in it..
