An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Asc. Gold Medal

Good brew. Pours a slightly cloudy light amber. Malt and citrus in the aroma, also a touch of grass. Light on the palate with notes of citrus and grass. Taste is very smooth and refreshing. I can definitely sense the lemon grass there. A great warm summer day beer.

Pours a very cloudy, maybe honey golden color. Aggressive pour, maybe half finger white head. Head piling up around edges. Poor lacing.

Aroma is wheat for sure. Light banana, light citrus.

Taste is wheaty, light banana. Light citrus. Light coriander. Mostly, I would consider it to be bland.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Its refreshing, not bitter at all. Easy drinking, sessionable. Clean finish

Overall, its okay. Theres nothing wrong with it, just not a lot of flavors or anything going for it. Its average at best. I would not buy this again, and I probably wouldnt recommend it. There are plenty of other options, better options, at a better price.

Appearance: pours with a small beige head, the beer is a very hazy average gold color, has some brown particles of yeast at the bottom Aroma: hint of industrial lager, lemon, corn Taste: subtle sweetness, lemon, hints of corn Palate: light mouthfeel, lively carbonation, sweet aftertaste Overall: this could be refreshing on an extremely hot day, too bland for me, don't like the hints of corn either, there are better beers out there ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Colour...slightly hazy gold with no head. Nose...stale bubble gum, over cooked corn, and old broccoli. Palate...oxidized, stale, cardboard and school paste with traces of papee mch and a weird tangy thing.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance The beer pours very hazy orange amber color with a small foamy white head. The head fades rather fast leaving a lighter level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell The aroma of the brew is heaviest of a wheat smell mixed with a good deal of some lemon and orange. Along with these aromas comes some lighter smells of grain and a little bit of grassy and hay smell. Taste- The taste begins a wheat bread taste mixed with some sweeter flavors of an orange citrus. These flavors create a base taste for the brew, with the orange citrus taste growing slightly stronger as the taste moves forward. Along with the orange, a lemon flavor really kicks its way into the taste. With some grassy and herbal taste coming at the end of the taste, one is left with a wheaty and more sour citrus taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel-The body of the brew is rather thick for a brew of only 4.7 % with a carbonation level that is rather low. The thickness is great for the wheat flavors of the brew creating a more chewy feel. A little higher carbonation level would have made the brew slightly more refreshing in nature and matched the sourness slightly better, but overall the feel was pretty good. Overall A rather decent brew overall. A little bit on the sour side, but not bad overall.

Poured from tap at beer fest a slightly cloudy orange amber with white head. Taste and aroma were similar. It was wheat, grass, hay a bit of citrus and a little funk. Enjoyable on a 90 degree plaid day.
