blindeyedbetty (99), Arlington, Virginia, USA May 12, 2008 12 oz. bottle pours dark yellowish gold with lots of internal carbonation but no head. Not opaque as I’d expected for an unfiltered beer. Mild aroma of corn and wheat. Flavor is of mild lemongrass perhaps with a finish of yeast and hops. Perhaps it is my untrained palate but this is a poor example of an unfiltered wheat ale with little to no flavor at all.
unclemike (364), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Oct 3, 2008 This beer pours gold with a slight chill haze that fades as it warms up. The aroma is apparently devoid of all hop aroma. Slight maltiness, vague fruitiness (almost like the dried rasberry aroma from the raspberry black tea my wife drinks.) Not bad, but infinitely forgettable oh6gdx (6331), Vaasa, Finland Sep 29, 2008 Bottled@SBWF2008. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, fudge, caramel and some mild hints of hops. Flavour is hops, fruits, wheat and some grassy notes. Refreshing. Neematoad (61), , Illinois, USA Sep 27, 2008 A golden pour with a tiny head.
