This was a nice EPA. Haven’t had one of these in a while. Aroma was decent. All grassy hops. Pour was a nice burnt orange with a one finger off white head. Taste was very hoppy. A hint of caramel malt comes in and out, but strong earthy and grassy hops dominate. Medium to little carbonation. Nice beer and hides the ABV well.

Sep 30, 2008 BoTMC Selection September 2008: Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced a hazy, amber body, topped with a yellow-white head of foam with abundant lacing. Aroma was a nice floral hops, which I expected from the style, along with some orange notes. Smooth flavor, with a sweet beginning melding into a soft bitter finish and minimal aftertaste. Palate is a soft blending of hops and citrus. Overall, a pleasant brew that is easy to drink and enjoy.

Sep 28, 2008 pretty decent pale ale, has a nice hop aroma to it, decent body with a nice bit of a hop taste to it.

Sep 23, 2008 Very nice ale. Hops in the aroma dominate. Taste is more complex. Starts a bit sweet and ends very bitter. Very dry in the mouth leaves you wanting another.

Sep 20, 2008 Very nice. Lots and lots of citrusy hops on the nose, same in the flavor. Pretty yummy overall, but the finish turns stale. Still, pretty damn aight.

Sep 12, 2008 Pours copper color with small head that dissipates immediately. Great hoppy aroma with strong grapefruit backing. Pretty good flavor, nice balance of the citrus hops and a somewhat sweet backing. Has a sticky palate. Enjoyable brew.
