THOUGHTS: Decent beer, but I donít know if I would have guessed it was a pumpkin beer. Flavorful and easy to drink, but a little watery in body. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium brown with red highlights when held to light and an average, tan head that kept a decent sheet and left fair lacing. The aroma had moderate caramel, molasses, chocolate and roasted malts; light herbal hops; hints of pumpkin pie spices; cola, slight sour pumpkin and vegetal pumpkin. The initial flavor was moderately sweet and slightly bitter; while the finish was heavily sweet, slightly sour and lightly bitter with a short duration. Overall, it was a little watered down. There was molasses, caramel, roasted malts, cola, and a little sour pumpkin. The medium body was watery with soft, yet tingly carbonation and a dry and lightly astringent finish.

Bottle. A- Pumpkin pie, spices, cinnamon nutmeg, molasses. A- Brown color, hazy liquid, tan head. T- Spice, malty. P- Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, spiced watery finish. O- Decent amount of spice and even real smelling pumpkin pie but the taste was lacking. Pretty malty and one dimensional without much of the aroma transferring over onto the palate.

Many thanks to Chris for this bottle! Smooth fresh, slightly sour, slightly spicy. Fresh, slightly grainy, nearly no bitterness. Smooth, fresh, but a bit too characterless. Easy to drink though.

Poured from bottle to glass. Copper red hue with fizzy off white head that diminished to a thin ring. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, sugar. Mouthfeel is decent with a medium body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet with a spice finish. Overall this is a decent brew.

Brown with flecks of red and nearly no head. Nutmeg, sugar, and molasses in nose. Tastes like candy. Just donít care for this style.

Great rich auburn color, light off white head, nice carbonation. Not an overly pronounced pumpkin flavor but a good balance of sweetness and spice.

Bottle. Spicy, pumpkin aroma with notes of molasses. Pours dark copper colored with a thin tan head and pretty good lacing. Starts quite malty with hints of pumpkin and molasses. Finishes smooth with the spicy character revealing itself at the end. Decent pumpkin, but not on par with others I've had.

Nice aroma of spices, good balance between pumpkin and spice. Sweet malty backbone that bears the weight of the spices and pumpkin nicely. Hint of molasses is probably what makes this one of my favorite pumpkin beers out there.

On tap at pj whelihans. Pours a dark dark chic cerry red. Little to no head or lacing. Light spices, no pumpkin. Odd and upsetting.

From a bottle smells like punky pie. Look is dark like a porter. Stoutly kind a feel that morphs into a stronger dark lager. Yes that spice is in there. That molasses is detectable I think, gives it a rich nerve. Yes, that dark beer thing takes over in the middle yet it has decent, almost over the top, punky personality. Just never quite gets there. Aroma turns metallic toward the end.
