12oz Bottle. The pour was a clear burnt orange with an average (1-2 finger) light brown fluffy head that had OK retention, reducing slowly to a thin film and small collar with good sheets of sticky lacing The aroma was on the mild side, with a toasted grain malt and an earthy doughy yeast and had notes of nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, a touch of brown sugar and of course pumpkin. The taste was very lightly sweet and a tad malty with notes of brown sugar and pumpkin from the get go, and then took on an almost stale bitterness and had a mild spicy finish. The flavor was most definitely short in duration with not much left behind but a slight hint of spices. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a decently mild carbonation. Overall this was a light tasting Pumpkin Ale, which did possess a decent drinkability but was pretty much nothing special...

Bottle. Spicy, pumpkin aroma with notes of molasses. Pours dark copper colored with a thin tan head and pretty good lacing. Starts quite malty with hints of pumpkin and molasses. Finishes smooth with the spicy character revealing itself at the end. Decent pumpkin, but not on par with others I've had.

Nice aroma of spices, good balance between pumpkin and spice. Sweet malty backbone that bears the weight of the spices and pumpkin nicely. Hint of molasses is probably what makes this one of my favorite pumpkin beers out there.

On tap at pj whelihans. Pours a dark dark chic cerry red. Little to no head or lacing. Light spices, no pumpkin. Odd and upsetting.

From a bottle smells like punky pie. Look is dark like a porter. Stoutly kind a feel that morphs into a stronger dark lager. Yes that spice is in there. That molasses is detectable I think, gives it a rich nerve. Yes, that dark beer thing takes over in the middle yet it has decent, almost over the top, punky personality. Just never quite gets there. Aroma turns metallic toward the end.

"Don’t see the low scores here. Nice all around though not a standout. Ample spices but not overdone. Malty, dark amber. Nice pumpkin flavor. I dug it a little."

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass purchased in Denver, CO. Pumpkin isn't my favorite, but it's exciting in fall to watch the Broncos with a pumpkin beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample at the pumpkin beer tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 9/4/14. Pours clear copper/brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, ginger, brown sugar and malt. Malty flavor with ginger before a slightly vegetal finish.

Pumpkin is not what comes to mind. More of a medium lager with some slight spices, but is a satisfying brew. Crisp finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Meh...OK beer. Aroma was decent. Molasses, brown sugar and notes of pumpkin pie spice. Pour was a dark brown with deep red amber hues with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was very subdued. The molasses and brown sugar drown out any spices that are there. The finish brings out some nutmeg. Nice carbonation.

Bottle. Poured black with a tan head. Light spice aroma with a hint of the molasses. I like a subtle pumpkin ale, but this is a bit too subtle. Very light spice taste with a dark molasses finish. This fell short for me.
