2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a purple red with a pink head. The berry aroma is light and not overpowering. The flavor is too synthetic- it tastes a bit like cough syrup without the great cough syrup thickness. Yuck! UPDATE 12/2007: In the bottle from Liquor Mart Denver. I swear this pours pink right out of the bottle, but by the time the glass is full, it appears to be a dark golden color. The head is quite ethereal. Aroma is very berry-like: raspberries, and cranberries, but no tundra. In fact, there is nothing peaty about this beer. The flavor is just too sweet. It brings to mind Juicy Juice Brand Very Berry flavor. This could perhaps be called "Babyís First Beer." The fruit flavor finishes quick and this beer wraps up to nothingness. Definitely one for those with a delicate palate.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of blueberry muffins with some of that crumpled hard sugar on top and light yeast. Tastes of tart blueberries. Lightly puckering. Thinner body. I liked the aroma as I love blueberry muffins.

Bottle. Poured reddish amber with a minimal white frothy head that diminished quickly with fair lacing. Light sweet fruity aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium tart sour flavor with a medium sour finish of short duration. Worth trying once.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Thanks to hopdog. Pours a very lightly hazy pinkish yellow with a very small bubbly white head. Aroma of wheat, light grass, hints of berries and some cereal. Flavor is very tart, but not really in a good way. Kind of a funky tartness, thin, almost like a sour patch kid candy. Cannot really pick out the various berries in this one. I mean you can tell it is getting that tart/sour thing from some type of fruit. But it just doesnít come across well.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Picked this one up for my wife (trying to edge her into beer by starting with fruity ones)... Color is pink and cloudy. Yeasty and wheat-like aroma. Flavor is of mixed berries and is quite tart. Doesnít really taste like beer at all (which is probably why my wife drank it so fast!). Interesting beer and is actually somewhat refeshing. Different than other fruit flavored beers Iíve tried.
12 oz bottle (best before 9/24/2006), $1.35 from The Party Source.

The ale poured a yellowish color with a minimal head. Aroma was very sweet. Flavor was extremely sweet but suprisingly decent. Very tart but enjoyable enough

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Has an ale ever ruffled the feathers of so many reviewers on this site? I give it praise for that alone. It is the tartest ale Iíve ever had and that wins it points. I respect this over the top bid. Unfortunately, in the end the sweet grape soda flavor beats out the dry tart ale character.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tastey and different. A lot like a cut of fancy tea. Not really much of a beer taste, just a blend of many fruit flavors. Different, interesting, but not something Iíd order again.
